Last meeting of our painting out days programme at Chatham Dockyard on 12 September 2022.

At Godinton House Gardens on Tuesday, 9 August. 12 members and 2 visitors attended. Sun was out and there was a cool breeze.
A return visit to Arnold Yoke on Monday, 1 August. The house and gardens are privately owned and we made a donation to the National Gardens

We revisited Belmont House and Gardens on Monday, 20 June. Beautiful weather and a good turnout and virtually had the gardens to ourselves.
On Tuesday, 14 June a first painting out day at Boughton Church.

Painting Out Days 2021
We visited Belmont House and Gardens at Faversham for our last painting out day for this year.

Penultimate painting out day at Chatham Dockyard on Monday, 6 September.
On Wednesday, 1 September, we visited Godinton House and Gardens. The sun did not make an appearance and it
was a bit chilly but we were given a warm welcome by the ladies at Godinton. 16 members attended.

On Tuesday, 24 August, 16 members attended Nettlestead Place Gardens.
The venue was glorious and it was a perfect painting out day.

On Monday, 21 July, we went to Willesborough Windmill. It was one of the hottest days of the year.

14 members attended for the first complete painting out day. The sun was out and it was great to catch up with old friends.

Monday, 24 May Teston Bridge and Country Park
Unfortunately this event as a painting day was postponed but some members still met at Teston for a hot drink and a catch-up as this was our first
'person to person' meeting for a long time.

Painting Out Days 2020
For our last painting out day this year, on Friday, 25 September, five hardy souls went to Allington Lock and braved the biting cold wind.
We visited Belmont House and Gardens on Friday, 18 September. It was a sunny but
breezy day, with clear blue skies. 14 members were there and it was relaxing and
sociable.

On Thursday, 4 September, we visited Great Comp Gardens. 14 members attended and whilst the sun did not make an appearance, the
wonderful colours of the flowers and shrubs compensated brilliantly.

On Wednesday, 19 August we visited Godinton House, near Ashford. 11 members attended and managed a little painting and drawing
before rain intervened and brought the day to an end early in the afternoon.

On Monday, 3 August, we visited 'The Friars' at Aylesford, Kent. A record 24 members attended, including 1 new member.

On Tuesday, 28 July, we met up at Hole Park Estate, Rolvenden, for our second painting out day. The weather was windy and sunny but
there were pockets of sunshine which kept the day at a nice temperature for painting and socialising. 13 members attended.

On Monday, 13 July, we held our first painting out day for this year at Teston (Bridge) Country Park. The weather was sunny and warm
and 21+ members took part. Everyone spread out to paint and we all met up at 12.30 for a socially distanced lunch break. It was great
to meet up with people we haven't seen for months. Brilliant day!
