January entries are shown below. The judging was done by Adrian Leppenwell whose comments are:-
I have had a long hard look at the 19 entries.
First place is No10 (Lesley Kalibabka)
I particularly like how the late winter sun gives a lovely atmosphere and combined with the loose approach to the trees makes it a very convincing winter painting.
Second place is No19 (Pat House)
The composition is nicely thought out the path leads you in to the subject, the trees give a good sense of distance
with soft trees in the far distance to middle distance and the well painted tree in the foreground.
Third place is No14 (Yvonne Smith)
The sheep are the stars of this painting. Love the way they are all staring at the viewer.
Well done to everyone it was very hard to choose I could of had 5 or more for 3rd place.
