Views: Jacobian Country House, estate and gardens including an Italianate and walled garden.
Directions from Maidstone:- Take M20 to J9, Ashford, pass under Motorway towards Ashford, pass John Lewis and then right at roundabout on A20 towards Maidstone. In approx. 1 mile, left into Godington Lane. Under railway bridge and the entrance is on the left. We have kindly been allowed access before opening time.
Cost: The £5 Garden Entry Fee per attendee will be collected by MAS and paid to Visitor Reception. HHA (now known as HH)
Members free.
Facilities: Free parking and toilets

Views: Estuary views, possible moored sailing barge & Grade 2 Listed Church dating back to Saxon times.
Directions from Maidstone: Take A249, Detling Hill north from Maidstone. At first junction beyond M2, turn left onto A2. Approx 2 miles look for large café & car park on left & turn right into Breach Lane (signposted Breach/Lower Halstow). After approx. 2 miles turn right onto The Street, then second left onto Lapwing Drive. Park considerately at end on right. Church & estuary short distance to right.
Facilities: From 9.30 to 11.30 Church “Coffee Stop”. Drinks, cakes & savouries. Toilet available by arrangement from midday. Toilet in “Three Tuns” pub a short walk away.

Address: Tenterden Town Station, Station Road, Tenterden, TN30 6HE
Views: 2 trains in service, 1 steam and 1 Heritage Diesel Observation Train. The steam service departs Tenterden at 10:40, 13:15 and 15:35. We will be able to draw at the station area.

Directions from Maidstone: Drive south from Maidstone on A229 to the Wheatsheaf pub. Bear left onto the A274 and follow this all the way via Headcorn and Biddenden to Tenterden. Drive through the town and the railway is signposted on your right down Station Road.
Facilities: Restaurant open 10am to 4.30pm . Toilets. Free parking
Cost: As the railway is a charity and we will have free entrance to the station and parking, I will be collecting a donation of £2 per person. There are additional costs if you wish to travel on the trains or go in the museum.
