CHALLENGE RESULTS (MARCH 2021).
This month's challenge covers two possibilities, as it is both St. David's day and St. Patrick's day in March, your subject should reflect Wales or Ireland, or just use the photograph shown below which is of a Welsh horse drawn canal boat on the Llangollen Canal.

The Judge, Nick Hampshire (President of our Society), has made the following comments:

As usual very hard to choose top 3. I do hope that none of the artists feel like they have missed out. I genuinely could have gone with any of these great paintings. But a decision had to be made and the winner is No 9 and two runners up are 6 and 8. Well-done all the artists for making this decision so very difficult.

CHALLENGE RESULTS (February 2021).
.The theme this month is CHINA, as it is the month of Chinese New Year.
​There is a photo of a tea room for you to use as inspiration or come up with your thoughts to represent China!
​Note that it will be the year of the Ox.

PAINTING COMPETITION / CHALLENGE (JANUARY 2021) RESULTS.
​The theme this month is SCOTLAND as it is Burns night on the 25th.
The choice is to produce a painting to represent Scotland, or alternately use the photograph below as inspiration.
This month, Catherine Beale, who gave us a presentation on the 8th January, kindly agreed to view the January entries and choose her favourites.
